UPM Raflatac - UHF RFID Tags |
|
Ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID systems provide longer operating distances and better read-rates compared to HF systems. In addition to retail, UHF systems are employed in various supply chain management applications. The frequency used for ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID systems varies between 860 and 960 MHz. UHF RFID systems operate between 902 and 928 MHz in North America, at 868 MHz in Europe and at 950 MHz in Asia (Japan). UHF RFID systems are widely deployed due to RFID mandates from several large corporations, including international retailers like Metro and Wallmart, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
UPM Raflatac’s UHF range is comprised of tags and inlays in the following delivery formats:
* Tag: die-cut web with adhesive, paper face
* Wet inlay: die-cut web with adhesive, film face
* Dry inlay: continuous web, no adhesive |
